Great first meeting!
The inaugural meeting of California Bug Club was a ton of fun! We had 80 people attending. Participants enjoyed talks from Emmet Brady of the Insect News Network, as well as Jeff Smith from the Bohart Museum of Entomology. Our raffle was a big success, and lots of people won great prizes donated by our members and sponsors.
We also decided to start holding meetings in both the Sacramento and Bay Area!

CALIFORNIA BUG CLUB has arrived!
A dynamic new group for bug-lovers is forming in Northern California, and you are invited to join and participate! California Bug Club will hold regular meetings with guest speakers, workshops, classes, raffles, field trips, and more, as members meet and explore their shared interest in all things invertebrate.
Insect collectors, keepers, spider and tarantula enthusiasts, amateur & professional entomologists, and hobbyists will all be learning from one another and offering public education events in our surrounding communities.
Our gatherings include a variety of lecture topics and activities designed to enrich the experience and knowledge of members and guests in the realm of insects and associated fauna.
